Pouring over a detailed, hand-drawn map littered with animal silhouettes and sketches of natural landscapes, 11-year-olds Grace Osler and Kyra Rogers enthusiastically point out all the “hot spots” of the Macoun Marsh, areas where they’ve spotted wildlife – from blue-spot ted salamanders to red-winged blackbirds – and explored a variety of habitats.
